Clarksville's Emergency Warming Shelter - The White Flag

When temperatures drop, our efforts in tandem with Canopy Initiative partners ensure that everyone in our community has a safe, warm place to stay.

Our Emergency Warming Shelter activates when there are three or more consecutive days with temperatures below 35°F. During these times, we partner with local faith and service organizations to provide overnight shelter and support. These locations offer warm shelter, meals, and compassionate care for individuals and families in need during severe cold weather.

For updates on activation status, please follow our Emergency Warming Shelter Facebook Page or contact Clarksville Area Urban Ministries at (931) 648-9090

If you’d like to volunteer at the Clarksville Area Urban Ministries location for men, please register through our Civic Champs platform by clicking the button below. This helps us organize shifts, track hours, and stay in touch with you when the shelter is activated.
